Kearney Bound Scholars
Kearney Bound prepares first-generation and income eligible students from North Platte High School, Lexington High School, Kearney High School, and Kearney Catholic High School to achieve excellence through knowledge, 字符, and commitment. This is achieved through academic counseling and support, leadership, personal development, and financial assistance to attend the University of Nebraska Kearney. 学生 are selected at the end of their 9th grade year and supported through college graduation.

Kearney Bound Program lands Bryan Escobar IT position
The Kearney Bound program changed Bryan Escobar’s life. The University of Nebraska at Kearney senior grew up in Lexington, where his parents worked at the Tyson meatpacking plant. They made enough money to get by, but paying for a university education would have been a stretch.
"One of the parts of Kearney Bound I appreciate is the support from our advisor. Abel would always answer the questions I had. Even if they were self-explanatory, he was always willing to help. He made going to college not as scary as it seemed. Thanks to him I am confident with the decisions I have made thus far, and I hope to continue to have an amazing last two years with the Kearney Bound Program."
